Bringing Transformational Presence into the
Heart of Business & Organisations

In business and organisations, real transformation begins not with strategy, but with essence.

It begins with sensing into the core truth of what wants to happen; of what is alive and ready to be recognised. From there, clarity can emerge and meaningful action becomes possible.

In this workshop, you will join members exclusively from the Global Transformational Presence community who feel called to bring this work more deeply into organisational and business contexts and to explore how this work comes alive moving from deep listening and fresh insights to grounded, impactful action for the people we serve.

Over the years, many in our community have asked:

This workshop is a direct response to that calling. There will be 40 seats available — we hope one of them will be yours!

A Learn-By-Doing Journey Into Organisational Transformation

Together with Jo and Katarina, who have years of experience in working with executive teams and organisations, you will - during this workshop - step into the role of being a Transformational Presence practitioner for a real organisation.

To guide the experience, we will introduce you to a fictional executive leadership team with all their opportunities as well as challenges. Throughout the three days, this team will be your “client”.

For whom is this workshop?


We welcome you if you are a leader, facilitator, leadership consultant, coach, or anyone who is a true TP ambassador and wants to make a difference in the world.

You will:

• Sense into the essence of what wants to shift for this organisation

• Explore the leadership dynamics, patterns, and opportunities beneath the surface

• Co-create a Transformational Presence–based workshop arc for this executive team

• Design exercises, conversations, and frameworks that support transformation

• Practice reading the room, listening to what is emerging, and discerning what the organisation is truly asking for

How We Will Work

Across the three days, you will:

• Work in small groups to design parts of the programme

• Step into roles as TP consultants, facilitators, and organisational guides

• Explore what kinds of questions, processes, and frameworks invite deep insight

• Practice crafting the “essence → insight → action” flow

• Reflect on presence, pacing, and the space in between

• Step back to see the full arc of a three-day TP-based programme and beyond for a leadership team

Structure of the From Essence to Action workshop:

🌿 Tuesday, 8 September - 18.00 CET - Welcome dinner & start of the workshop

🌿 Wednesday-Thursday,  9 -10 September 
Our days start at 08.45 and we close the days around 17.30. Dinner at 19.00.

🌿 Friday, 11 September 
Our day starts at 08.45 and we close the day around 16.00 (boat from Utö leaves around 16.30)

Price for the workshop is €1200 + VAT (25%). You pay the workshop upon registration and your receipt includes all information you might need to claim for your accounting. If you for any reason need a separate invoice, please let us know.

Welcome to Utö

Utö is an island in the south archipelago of Stockholm with a special history. The island had a permanent population as early as the middle of the 500s. Unlike other islands in the archipelago, it was neither fishing nor agriculture that later became Utö's main industry. Here, iron ore created the primary source of income. As early as the 1100s, iron ore began to be extracted from the mines, which came to be among the most important mines in Sweden. Intensive mining lasted for about 700 years. The remaining mine holes that are still on display testify to old times. Mining meant that new labour was constantly needed for the island. Perhaps this helped to shape the open and welcoming atmosphere that prevails today on Utö.

After Russians in the early 1700s came and devastated and ravaged the island, the iron ore that was transported on boats was eventually replaced with other cargo. In the 1800s, the first bathers arrived. During this period, the island was frequently visited by artists, poets, writers and actors such as Georg and Hanna Pauli, Gustaf Fröding, and Greta Garbo.

Utö welcomes its visitors with both beautiful and fascinating nature; rocks, cliffs, sand, forest, and sea. The island is only 10 km long and 3 km wide, so it is easy to explore and it's nature surrounds you everywhere.

Travel to Sweden and to Utö

The closest airport is Arlanda, Stockholm airport. This airport is around 40 km north of Stockholm. There are trains, express trains and buses to take you into the Stockholm city center. There are also fixed prices on taxis that can take you from the airport directly to the boat that leaves to Utö. With public transportation you will need around 2-2,5 hours and with a car around 1,5 hours from Arlanda airport to get to where the boat leaves .

From Stockholm city center you get to Utö via public transport by first catching the commuter train (~30 min), then bus (~15 min) and finally the boat (~40 min). More details will come.

Important information about TBE Vaccination

When traveling to Sweden (as well as many other European countries), it is recommended to have a vaccination against TBE (Tick-Borne Encephalitis), especially if you will spend time in nature. It is not mandatory to get into Sweden; it is only a recommendation, and yet we want to inform you about this, in case you want to take the vaccination before traveling to Sweden. The risk of getting TBE is small, and yet the virus can make you sick.

The vaccination is given in 2+1 doses to get maximum effect. The first two are taken within 1-3 months of one another (giving you around 90% protection), and the third dose is taken 5-12 months after dose #2 (to complete the vaccination).

Travel

Q: How do I travel to the boat from Arlanda airport?
A: The quickest and easiest way is to take a taxi from the airport to Ă…rsta brygga where the boat departures from. There is a fixed rate of 1471 SEK (as of Nov 26, 2025 which might change in 2026) for a car taking 4 passenger and 2205 SEK (as of Nov 26, 2025 which might change in 2026) for car taking 7 passenger if you book with Taxi Stockholm. You can call them at +46 (8) 15 00 00 or book via this LINK. You can also contact Katarina on katarina@carsconsulting.se or via WhatsApp if you need help with booking a taxi. The drive will take around 1 hour if there are no traffic jams. Make sure you have at least 1,5 hours to be sure to catch the boat.

Q: If I want to go from Arlanda airport to Ă…rsta brygga by public transportation?
A: You can either take Arlanda Express (leaves every 15 min and takes 20 min) into Stockholm central station. A one way ticket with Arlanda Express is 340 SEK. There are also regular trains leaving from Arlanda train station. You can check the timetable via the SJ app or via the webpage. Prices with regular train will differ depending on time of day. The ticket will be range between 200-250 SEK approx. From Stockholm train station you take the commuter train to Västerhaninge and then shifting to bus no. 846 that will take you to Ă…rsta brygga. Download the SL app or visit the webpage of SL to see timetable's etc. There is one ticket that will cover both the train and the bus journey. Single ticket is 43 SEK. NB! It happens that the commuter trains are late and the bus 846 in Västerhaninge will not wait for a late train. The boat will most often wait for the bus if that is late. So make sure you take a train earlier than the timetable will advise you to take.

Q: How do I travel from Stockholm to the boat?
A: Please see the answer above.

Q: Do I need to reserve a seat on the boat to Utö?
A: There is no need to reserve a seat. There is free seating and there is possibility to buy coffee, tea, sandwiches etc on the boat.

Q: Where do I pay the ticket for the boat and how much does it cost?
A: You pay the ticket on the boat with credit card or cash. Or with SL card/app for those who have that (mainly the Swedish people). One way ticket is 104 SEK. Keep the ticket. You will need to leave it when leaving the boat upon arrival. You can also buy return ticket, just make sure you keep the ticket for your return. There is no discount when buying a return ticket so you can buy a single ticket again when leaving Utö in case you think you might loose the ticket.

Q: Are there prices for senior people on trains, buses, boat?
A: Yes, there are most often a lower price for seniors. Please check when you buy your tickets.

Q: Where can I find a timetable for the boats to Utö?
A: The timetable is not yet available. We will inform you as soon it is released. 

Q: How far is the venue from where the boat arrives on Utö?
A: The venue is only a few minutes walking distance from the pier to the reception of the venue.

Q: When will I be able to leave Utö on September 11?
A: The workshop will end in time for you to catch a boat that will leave at approx. 16.30 from Utö.

Q: How much time will I need from Ă…rsta brygga to be able to catch a flight from Arlanda airport?
A: If you go from Ă…rsta brygga with a taxi to Arlanda you will need around 1,5 hour to be on the safe side. 

Good to know

Q: Can I rent a bike on the island?
A: Yes, there are many bikes to rent and no need to reserve one before arrival. It is higly recommended to rent a bike that will offer you to go and see more of the surroundings further away from the venue. 

Q: Payment in Sweden and do I need cash in Sweden?
A: Sweden is largly a cashfree country so a valid credit card/payment card is essential for most transactions. However, carrying a small amount of cash can be useful in certain situations.

For instance, while waiting for the ferry to Utö, you might want to grab a coffee or ice cream at the kiosk - and in that case, cash is needed. Swedish kronor, as well as dollars and euros, are generally accepted there, making it easy to make small purchases before your trip.

Q: What clothes should I bring to Utö?
A: Sweden’s weather can be unpredictable - one moment it’s warm and sunny, the next it’s chilly and rainy. To ensure you’re prepared for all conditions, bring clothing that will keep you comfortable no matter the forecast. Warm layers and sturdy shoes are especially useful, allowing you to fully enjoy and explore the island without limitations.

Q: What if I forget to bring something important. Can I get that on Utö?
A: Utö is a truly magical destination, and part of its charm comes from its remote location. However, that remoteness also means limited access to conveniences like a pharmacy, so it’s essential to pack everything you’ll need for your stay. In case you do forget something important we will do our best to support you.

Q: I am not staying at any of the listed accommodations. How do I register for my meal package?
A: In case you are staying at another accommodation than at the venue, you register for the meal package with Utö Värdshus by sending them an email at bokningen@utovardshus.se stating that you want to book a meal package.

Q: How, when and where do I pay for my accommodation and meals? Can I pay by credit card?
A: If you stay at the venue (Utö Värdhus) you will receive an invoice via email for you to pay before arrival. If you have any questions regarding the payment, Utö Värdshus will gladly support you.

Q: What is the cancellation policy for accommodation and meals?
A: Accommodation at the venue and meals can be cancelled without charge up to 7 days before the start of the Global Gathering.

Extension of my journey to Sweden

Q: Can I extend my stay in Utö?
A: Of course, you can extend your stay in Utö or Sweden. Please reach out directly to the venue in case you want to arrive early or stay on after the gathering.

Q: Can I stay at the venue after the workshop?
A: Yes, of course. There are some rooms reserved so make sure you reach out to the venue to secure your accommodation.
